NMS sponsors Florida 2024 Construction Law Institute

Nulman Mediation Services will be onsite as a sponsor at the 2024 Construction Law Institute in Orlando, Florida, March 21-23.

In the state of Florida, parties involved in a lawsuit are required to participate in a facilitated mediation as a means to settle disputes before going to trial. The annual Construction Law Institute, presented by the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section (RPPTL) offers attorneys two-days of in-depth seminars showcasing the latest developments in the field of construction law, as well as mediation strategies and techniques to assist in resolving disputes for clients.

James Nulman, president of Nulman Mediation Services, will represent NMS at the Institute. Nulman is a Certified Circuit Civil and Appellate Mediator and a Certified U.S. District Court Mediator. He earned his mediation certification in 1995 while working full time as a trial lawyer.

Following a 25-year career in commercial and construction litigation, in 2006 he opened Nulman Mediation Services, a practice dedicated solely to mediation services. Today, he conducts approximately 150 mediations annually. While focused primarily on construction and insurance coverage matters, he has extensive experience mediating a wide range of other disputes including: business disputes and dissolutions, copyright and trademark infringements, contract disputes, employment issues, real estate disputes, medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death.
