Mediator and former trial attorney James L. Nulman to kick off the Florida Bar’s 2021 Construction Law Institute discussing mediation strategies with construction lawyers from throughout the state of Florida.
Nulman joins fellow mediators John Freud and Bruce Alexander as part of a panel discussion entitled “Mediation Struggles – This S—t Ain’t Working, Now What Do We Do?” The discussion includes topics critical to the resolution of construction disputes. Specifically, the trio will explore and discuss with the audience negotiation strategies, insurance coverage and the psychology of perception and subconscious biases and their impacts on the mediation process.
With more than fifty years of combined experience as mediators, Nulman, Freud and Alexander will offer their insights to an audience of more than 400 construction litigators.
The Construction Law Institute, an annual event of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Trust and Probate Section, will be held in Orlando, Florida May 20 – 22, 2021. The mediation panel featuring Nulman, Freud and Alexander is the first plenary session of the conference on Friday, May 21.
