NMS sponsors 2025 Florida Construction Law Institute

Nulman Mediation Services was a sponsor of the Florida Bar 2025 Construction Law Institute in Orlando, Florida. James Nulman, president of Nulman Mediation Services, represented NMS at the Institute.

In the state of Florida, parties involved in a lawsuit are required to participate in a facilitated mediation as a means to settle disputes before going to trial. The annual Construction Law Institute, presented by the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section (RPPTL) offers attorneys two-days of in-depth seminars showcasing the latest developments in the field of construction law, as well as mediation strategies and techniques to assist in resolving disputes for clients.

Following a 25-year career in commercial and construction litigation, in 2006 Nulman opened Nulman Mediation Services, a practice dedicated solely to mediation services. Today, as a Certified Circuit Civil and Appellate Mediator and a Certified U.S. District Court Mediator, he conducts approximately 150 mediations annually. While focused primarily on construction and insurance coverage matters, he has extensive experience mediating a wide range of other disputes including: business disputes and dissolutions, copyright and trademark infringements, contract disputes, employment issues, and real estate disputes.
